Your Home, Fully Protected
Our homeowners insurance, also known as buildings insurance, protects your property against various insured events including fire, lightning and weather-related damage. The coverage includes any water damage caused by leaking or overflowing from geysers, tanks, pipes, and gutters. Your property is also protected against both malicious and accidental damage.
The insurance extends beyond just your main residence. It covers the entire property including outbuildings, swimming pools, boundary walls, fences, gates, and gate motors. The coverage applies to any private residential home used for domestic purposes, and the cover is provided up to the building value (insurance replacement value) that you declared to the insurer. In addition to the above, the policy has the following covers, amongst others:

Security Guard
Cost of employing the security guard to protect the building if the damage had made it inhabitable, or during repairing or reinstatement of the building.

Rental Costs
The rental costs, for an alternative accommodation following the damage of the insured building.

Fire Brigade Charges
If authorities charge you with the cost of fire extinguishing following fire damage to tile dwelling, we will indemnify you.

Public Authorities Requirements
We will pay costs necessarily incurred in repairing or rebuilding in accordance with the requirements of public authorities following destruction or damage to the dwelling by an insured event.

Removal of fallen trees
We will pay costs necessarily incurred by you with our written consent for the removal of fallen trees from the dwelling following an insured event, in any 12 months period of insurance.
