The Sesiro Jwaneng Open Golf Tournament was successfully held from 12 to 14 June 2026 at the Jwaneng Golf Club. The three-day event brought together golfers, business leaders, industry stakeholders and members of the community for an exciting programme comprising competitive golf, strategic dialogue, networking and entertainment.

A key highlight was the Think Tank panel discussion held on 13 June under the theme, “Botswana’s Strategic Industries Under Siege.” Sesiro’s Director of Operations, Mr Mogomotsi Mokgosi, contributed to the discussion, highlighting the importance of diversifying Botswana’s industries and export markets, reducing the country’s import bill and leveraging Botswana’s mining expertise to create sustainable economic opportunities.

The programme concluded with a music festival, which provided an opportunity for participants and members of the community to connect and celebrate in a relaxed environment.
